The legend himself - a youthful-looking James Hunt - the 26 year old F1 rookie at his first Canadian Grand Prix where he finished 7th from 15th on the grid.

The race wasn't just the first Canadian Grand Prix for James, but also the first race that featured a car with the number '0' on it (the McLaren of Jody Scheckter), as well as the first use of a safety car.

With the tragic loss of his team mate at the following race, this would be the last race Jackie Stewart would start.
